RECRUITMENT
At the University of Oregon, sorority recruitment refers to the process through which potential new members (PNMs) join one of the sororities on campus. The University of Oregon has a smaller number of sororities compared to some other universities, with only 12 chapters. This can provide a more intimate and close-knit experience within each sorority.
Fall recruitment, also known as formal recruitment or primary recruitment, is the main period for sorority recruitment at the University of Oregon. It usually takes place during the first few weeks of the fall semester. The purpose of fall recruitment is for sororities to meet and get to know potential new members and for PNMs to explore their options and find the sorority that aligns with their values and interests.
